# SweeZero official chatroom rules #

* Off-topic chats are completely allowed.

* Swears are allowed, but slurs aren't. Reclamation is an exception.

* Politics are allowed, bring tech-related ones if you can :3

* Treat our chatters with respect.

* Venting is okay, your feelings matter!

* Keep all of our media SFW.

* Don't talk about NSFW/Sex here either. (You can directly say something is NSFW, but don't get in detail)

* Roleplay is allowed but should be controlled, sexual roleplay is disallowed in this community and by Libera.Chat network policy.

* Discussing about crimes and/or events of crimes are okay, as long as you don't encourage anyone and/or yourself to do any.

* If a moderator tells you to stop doing a specific thing, kindly stop, creating drama out of the request will NOT be accepted.

* Only speak English here unless excused by moderators or if it's translated back to english

* Gen Z/Alpha "brainrot" should be kept at a minimum unless it is commentary about it.

* Please don't start flame wars, they're very annoying.

* Don't spam, that includes posting walls of text/images.

* Our moderators have the right to ban people for being annoying.

* Please, please, PLEASE do not bring cross-channel or cross-platform drama here, it's very annoying to argue about that.

* Heavy use of the MeowNexus/eews bots should be moved to either ##sweezero-chaos on Libera.Chat or #swee on SweeNet. (use $s-chaos to remind someone about that)

# Bot policy #

* IRC
  * General-purpose or bots that do not make too much chaos, may be added to ##sweezero if ops are fine with it, we'll even +v them.
  * Please configure your bot so it doesn't conflict with MeowNexus.
  * Chaotic bots may be put in ##sweezero-chaos, and also will be +v'd on request
* Discord
  * Apps may be added to SweeZero if they don't cause too much chaos, but should be used in #bot-cmds
  * You may use apps that you have installed to your user, on the #bot-cmds channel.
* Matrix
  * Bridge bots may not be added
  * General-purpose bots may be added
* Everywhere else: ask if it can be added, and use the bot commands channel if there is any

# Notes #

* Most of our staff's timezones are PST or PDT, though some of us can stay up to moderate.

* Using the wrong channel is OKAY.

* the #memes-humor-offensive channel of the Discord-like parts are an exception to some of the rules, but put a content warning or spoiler on highly offensive/inappropriate messages
